Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a double shooting in Brent saw two men hospitalised.

Armed response officers and local officers attended Kingsbury Road, after police were called at around 10.30pm on Sunday (24 April), to reports of shots having been fired.

Two men, age 21 and 22, were taken to a west London hospital for treatment to gunshot injuries.

The 21-year old man remains in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The 22-year-old man was discharged from hospital on Monday (April 25).

It is believed the suspects were driving a black car and there are no further suspect details at present.

Detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating.

The incident comes after a spate of violent crime in west London including a teenager shot in Notting Hill and a Hillingdon pensioner at gunpoint.

No arrests have been made and police are continuing their enquiries.
