Two men from Acton have died and another from Maida Vale has been left in a coma after a BMW crashed into a tree in Essex on Saturday (November 12).

Passengers Farhad-Zubair Maqbool and Yahya Sharif, both 25 and from Acton, died at the scene after a BMW came off at the A12 near Ingatestone and hit a tree, reports Essex Live .

The driver, a 26-year-old from Maida Vale, survived the collision but is in a coma at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

It was not until around 7.15am the following morning that the road was reopened, while an investigation was carried out.

Essex Police is appealing for anyone who saw the collision or the BMW before the incident to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email
