A two-car collision caused one of three lanes to be closed on the North Circular Road on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened on the A406 westbound North Circular Road approaching Great Central Way, Brent Park, shortly before 6.30am.

One of three lanes approaching the junction of Great Central Way near Brent Park superstores was blocked to motorists while the incident was dealt with.

The lane closure caused queues of traffic and congestion at the Brent Cross Interchange.

The incident was resolved at 7.38am when the road was reopened.

There were no reported injuries.
