The trial of a Hounslow police officer accused of multiple rape charges had begun at the Old Bailey .

PC Michael Graham, who has been suspended from the force, is standing trial accused of seven counts of rape and one assault.

He denied all charges at an earlier hearing at Isleworth Crown Court on November 19, last year, and was granted bail.

The trial which was set to be heard at the court in west London was transferred to the Central Criminal Court and PC Graham appeared at the Old Bailey on Monday (June 6).

PC Graham was arrested at his home on October 6, 2015 and charged the following day for an alleged string of offences that took place between December 24 2013 and September 2 2014.

The Metropolitan Police has previously stated the officer was not on duty at the time of the alleged offences.
