Fitness fanatics are in for a treat with the launch of a new gym class that is described by trainers at the "toughest in the world".

The almost impossible Flatline class run by Gymbox is so intense athletes have to sign a death and organ donation waiver.

A medical professional is also on hand while the class perform a circuit of ultra-tough exercises.

According to the organisers, the risks include vomiting, collapsing and cardiac arrest during the 45 minute intense workout.

The class is being launched by fitness chain Gymbox at its new site in Farringdon, which opens on Monday (November 14).

Gymbox, which claims to be the most energising place to get fit in London, also has a facility in Westfield in White City so its likely we could see Flatline reaching west London very soon.

Flatline participants are put through their paces with circuits of weighted rope climbs, atlas stone throws, box jump burpees, high intensity bike, kettle bell thrusts and sprints.
