Tottenham’s European adventures at Wembley continue on Thursday evening (February 23).

Spurs take on Belgian opponents KAA Gent in the Europa League - the second tier of European football.

Tottenham used Wembley for their Champions League fixtures earlier in the season as their home ground White Hart Lane has been partly demolished ahead of a new stadium being built adjacent to it.

However, a less than impressive campaign in European football’s top club competition saw Tottenham finish third and slip into Europa.

The north London club had the option of playing Europa back on Seven Sisters Road but opted to keep playing European football in Brent .

Tottenham set attendance records in two of their three Champions League matches at Wembley, and another bumper crowd is expected to watch them attempt to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.

This season is the last Spurs will play at White Hart Lane.

It will be fully demolished later this year as part of the new stadium development, with Tottenham expected to play all home matches at Wembley next season before their new stadium opens in time for the 2018/19 season.
