Shocking pictures show the terrifying guns seized by Metropolitan Police Task Force in London in November.
The number of gun related crimes in capital has risen by 41% since 2015, according to Metropolitan Police figures.
In 2015 there were 1,793 reported gun crimes and from April 2016 to April 2017 that number had increased to 2,544.
A loaded shotgun was discarded under a car by a man in Brent during a police struggled on November 4.
Brent police seized the weapon and detained the man.
It tweeted: "Officers detained a Male in Brent last night. During struggle he discarded this loaded shotgun under a car."
On November 5 Kensington and Chelsea police discovered a revolver at a residential address they had attended to arrest a violent and wanted criminal.
On Thursday (November 9) police made arrests after a fully working handgun and a lethal crossbow were discovered at a Newham property where a search warrant was being executed.
Other firearms recovered by Met police since the start of November include two handguns seized by officers executing a search warrant in Hackney on November 2.
Another handgun as well as a knife were seized and a group of four arrested in Hackney also on November 2.
