Teenager found safe and well following police appeal

A teenage girl has been found safe and well nearly a week after she went missing from Southall.

Police thanked the public for helping to trace 15-year-old Jayda Richardson-Madahar.

The teenager had last been seen at her home, in Talbot Road, on Wednesday evening (February 25).

Her family reported her missing the next day, when they realised she had gone, sparking a police appeal.

On Tuesday (March 2), the Metropolitan Police tweeted to say she had been found "safe and well".
