A teenager is fighting for his life after being stabbed in Queen's Park on Saturday (December 17).

Metropolitan Police was called to Barfett Street at 8.44pm following reports of a stabbing.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found a 19-year-old man suffering stab wounds to the chest.

He was taken to a central London hospital, where police said he remains in a critical condition.

Karen Buck, the Labour MP for Westminster North, tweeted the news of the stabbing, adding that "tackling serious youth violence still a priority".

No arrests have been made and the next-of-kin have been informed.
