Police are asking the public to help them find a missing teenager from Brentford after failing to trace his whereabouts.

Metropolitan Police officers from Hounslow borough have asked people if they have seen missing 14-year-old James Priddle.

A spokesman for the force said: "We need your assistance to find James, please call 101 quote ref 17MIS009372."

The appeal to find James has been widely shared on social media, including on Twitter where borough officers put out the call for people's assistance.

He was last seen in the Brentford area and anyone with help should inform the Metropolitan Police immediately.
