Tiago Mendes, 19, of Thorpe Crescent, Watford, pleaded guilty to nine counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and two counts of theft, which included stealing a car from a house in Harrow.
His partner, 18-year-old Patrick Hanrahan, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.
Mendes was handed a total of six years and three months’ imprisonment and a driving ban, while Hanrahan also received a driving ban as well as a total prison sentence of two years and eight months.
The pair carried out their spree between January 2016 and February 2017, with the crimes in Harrow, Northwood and Denham all being carried out by Mendes in early 2016.
The duo were convicted and sentenced on Friday March 29.
Investigating officer, PC James Wiggs, based at Amersham Police Station, said: “I am pleased with these convictions and that both Mendes and Hanrahan have received significant custodial sentences.
“I would also like to mention PC Penny Jefferys for her work in securing these convictions.
“This shows the consequences of theft and burglary, and that Thames Valley Police will thoroughly investigate these crimes, and where possible, look to secure convictions.”
