A teenager who died when he was hit by a train in Feltham was a "loving, kind and caring boy", his grieving mother has said.

Fabio De-Campos, of Southern Avenue, Feltham, was pronounced dead after being hit by a train at Feltham railway station on the afternoon of October 24 last year.

Speaking during an inquest at West London Coroner's Court on Tuesday (March 29), his mother Maria De-Campos said: "He was a loving, kind and caring boy.

"He had lots of friends and was never aggressive and always well-behaved."

The court heard how the 17-year-old, who was born in Portugal, had been experiencing problems over the last year and had previously tried to take his own life.

Chinyere Inyama, chief coroner at the court, said a post-mortem showed Mr De-Campos had died from multiple injuries. He recorded a conclusion of death by suicide.
