Teen charged with GBH in connection with Hanworth stabbing

A teenager has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Hanworth.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH), on Sunday (June 14), police said.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on July 1, following on from his first appearance at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Monday (June 15).

Detectives continue to investigate the incident, which happened at Watermill Way, near Crane Park, on Thursday (June 11) at around 7.10pm.

Officers are still appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward to call the incident room on 020 8358 0400 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
