Traffic lanes around Shepherd’s Bush Green were closed on Thursday (March 30) night while police investigated a suspected road rage incident, officers have revealed.
Police and ambulance crews were called shortly before 6pm to Caxton Road and found a 26-year-old man with a head injury.
He was taken to hospital with injuries described as not life threatening.
It was reported that a man was involved in a minor traffic collision before getting into an altercation with another motorist.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody at a west London police station.
The incident caused significant traffic delays in the area as police set up a crime scene, with all lanes only reopening at around 10pm.
People on social media suggested the filming was for a BBC drama called Hard Sun – a pre-apocalyptic crime drama set in modern day London, starring Jim Sturgess and Agyness Deyn.
The series is by Neil Cross, the creator of the Idris Elba crime drama Luther, and will be filmed across the capital.
Film crews will remain at Shepherd’s Bush Green until Monday (April 3).
All roads reopened at around 10pm.
