A new career carrying large parcels could earn you great pay just in time for Christmas.

Parcelforce is recruiting Christmas delivery drivers across the country to start work in October or November on a six week assignment, ahead of its busiest time of year.

No driving experience is required and employees can earn between £10.96 and £13.30 an hour.

The role is temporary however there is potential to become a permanent employee, which was achieved by more 25% of the drivers in last year’s programme.

Applicants need a full standard driving licence, good attention to detail and great communication experience.

The advert says : "As a Delivery Driver, you’ll start the day by reviewing your delivery route and making sure your vehicle is loaded and safe.

"You’ll then be out and about; driving one of Parcelforce’s vans and delivering parcels to homes and businesses in your area.

"At every step of the way, you’ll use your great communication skills to make sure great customer service is delivered every time."
