Forget moderation, Westfield is celebrating excess when it holds its Indulgence 2016 weekend this month.

Visitors to the shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush can experience first-hand a menu of indulgent morsels sourced from the finest, most exclusive Marks & Spencer products, created by sensory branding food specialists Condiment Junkie.

Shoppers will travel through four indulgence rooms full of delicious bites, tantalising the taste buds. They will also be issued with a ‘food passport’ which they can hand in for a chance to win a prize after it’s been stamped in all four rooms.

Celebrate Indulgence at Westfield

Through interactive and engaging experiments, Indulgence 2016 allows visitors to the shopping centre’s Atrium to explore the vast world of food and how it can be created in innovative ways that makes it hard to resist.

What to expect in The Indulgence Rooms

  • Sumptuous Smells: Discover six sumptuous smells through ‘scent-trumpets’, each releasing a burst of delicious aromas whilst you taste some sweet treats. Decide on which are the most mouth-wateringly indulgent and tempting.
  • Extreme Intensity: The Extreme Intensity Laboratory chefs work with the fullest, richest, and strongest flavours and create the most intensely indulgent food experience. By tasting just the smallest morsel of intense chocolate, visitors will be blown away by the all-consuming strength of this extremely intense chocolate truffle.
  • Guilty Pleasures: Celebrate the sinful, but extremely tasty things that we secretly love to indulge in. The chefs will prepare dishes throughout the event that reflect Brits guilty food pleasures made up of the weirdest and most unusual combination of unexpected ingredients. Special guests will also reveal their gourmet sins and visitors to the event will have the chance to spin the wheel of guilty pleasures to sample these strange concoctions.
  • The Rarest of Tastes: Go on a journey through some of the world’s most luxurious, expensive and indulgent foods. Take a moment to explore the culinary curiosities placed around the room.

Head of marketing at Westfield, Myf Ryan, said: “We are really excited to be working with sensory experts Condiment Junkie once again this year to create a unique food event for our customers to explore. With customers craving the full sensory experience, “Indulgence” is sure to ignite their taste, sights and smells and more as they make their way throughout the four sensory rooms.”

Indulgence 2016 runs at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush from February 19-21.
