Southall rape: Man wanted for questioning by Metropolitan Police following attack near Western Road

A young woman was attacked near Western Road by a man she had met hours earlier, police said

Detectives investigating the rape of a young woman in Southall have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.

Between 3.30am and 7.30am on Monday October 23, a woman in her early 20s was assaulted by a man she had met earlier that day at an unknown address.

According to a Metropolitan Police spokesman, she was assaulted and raped when she went into an address in Southall, close to Western Road.

Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating.

On Wednesday (December 6), Metropolitan Police detectives appealed for anyone with information about the attack or who recognises the man in the photo to come forward.
