Police have sealed off Southall Broadway after a teenager was stabbed on Friday June 16.

The London Air Ambulance is at the scene.

The Metropolitan Police said a male, aged in his late teens, has been taken to a west London hospital.

I saw people running away and thought there’d been a fight. Seconds later this man collapses and the people that ran away ran back to him.”

'Slashed his neck'

The witness said:

The people he [the victim] was with said in Punjabi that he was walking with them and a random person came and stabbed him in the back, and when he turned around slashed his neck.”

'I thought a fight had broken out'

'A lot of police cars'

One person who passed by the Broadway after the incident, who does not wish to be named, said he had heard reports of a stabbing:

“I saw a lot of police cars.

“They’ve closed part of the Broadway.

“People are walking through but vehicles are not going through. There’s a lot of traffic.

“I was told the casualty was taken to hospital.”

Police were called Southall Broadway, Ealing, at approximately 12:20pm on 16 June to reports of a stabbing.

“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended the scene.”
