A murder investigation is under way after a man was stabbed to death in Southall on Tuesday (March 28).
Metropolitan Police was called at around 3.30pm to Featherstone Road, near the junction with Hartington Road, to reports of a stabbing.
A 27-year-old man was taken from the scene to hospital where he died the following morning at around 3.45am.
His next of kin have been informed.
A second male, aged 31, received minor stab injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital.
Detectives are investigating and appealing for information.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the incident room on 0208 785 8244.
Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
No arrests have been made so far.

Sav Singh, who has been manager at Bally’s Express on nearby Dudley Road for five years, said: “I have not seen anything.
“We found out from police. It is shocking it is on our road, on our doorstep.
“It is shocking and I am surprised.
“Nothing like that has happened around here before, it is a residential, quiet road.”
Police asking locals what they saw
A staff member at Buur business centre on Dudley Road, just off Featherstone Road, who requested to stay anonymous, said: “I wasn’t there yesterday, but police had come to speak to my colleague who was working, he was inside when it happened and so he didn’t see anything.
“But there were officers here asking people if they knew what had happened.”
Met police statement
A Met police spokesman said: “A murder investigation has been launched after a man was fatally stabbed in Southall.
“On Tuesday, 28 March police were called at about 15:30hrs to reports of a man stabbed in Featherstone Road, near the junction with Hartington Road.
“London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance were also called to the scene.
“The victim, a 27-year-old man, was taken to an east London hospital for treatment to his injuries.
“He died in hospital at around 03:45hrs on Wednesday, 29 March. His next of kin have been informed.
“A post-mortem and formal identification will take place in due course.
“A second male, 31, received minor stab injuries during the incident.
“He was taken to a central London hospital.
“Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
