Thousands of angry Brexiteers are calling for Sadiq Khan to be removed as Mayor of London .

More than 67,000 (correct at the time of writing) have signed a petition which argues against London having ties with the EU following the European Union vote in June last year.

A City Hall spokesman said the Mayor respected the wishes of the people but “is determined to secure the best possible deal for London from the Brexit negotiations – because when London flourishes, so does the rest of the country”.

getwestlondon then caught up with the petition creator, Matthew Lee , who denied he was racist.

Year 12 student Frank Moylett collapsed at the Hammersmith Academy, in White City , on January 18. He was taken to Charing Cross Hospital but died on January 28.
