Metropolitan Police arrested six people as far right groups and anti fascist groups protested in central London.
United Against Fascism (UAF) and United Against Extremism (UAE) took to the streets on Saturday (June 24) as The English Defence League (EDL) demonstrated from Victoria Embankment to Charing Cross Station.
Police confirmed they arrested one person from UAE for breach of the peace and another for a public order offence while the group protested from St Paul's Cathedral to London Borough Market.
Another person was also arrested for a public order offence within the footprint of the demonstration.
Three people from the United Against Fascism were arrested for breach of conditions - they protested at Victoria Embankment.
