A woman was taken to hospital for treatment last night (March 31) after a bus collided with two cars on Old Oak Road in Shepherds Bush .

The 228 bus crashed at around 7.22pm and hit some railings on the road near the junction with East Acton Lane and close to the A40 Westway.

A passenger from one of the cars sustained minor injuries and was taken to a central London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

Partial road blocks were put in place and buses, including the 228, 260 and 272, had to be rerouted.

It comes after lanes around Shepherd's Bush Green were shut on Thursday following a road accident in which a man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, BBC crews filmed what appeared to be a murder scene investigation on the Green at the same time , creating confusion among locals and passers-by.
