Updated designs for the regeneration masterplan of Wembley Park have gone on display.

Quintain is exhibiting its latest designs for its remaining land at a five-day public exhibition, ending on Tuesday (September 8).

Members of the local community have the opportunity to see Quintain's vision for the site and see how the plans have developed since the first consultation in June.

Visitors will also be able to comment on the proposals before a planning application is submitted to Brent Council later this year.

The plans, developed alongside architects Flanagan Lawrence, include:

  • Around 4,000 new homes
  • A new seven-acre public park
  • A new three-form entry primary school
  • Improved transport connections around the site
  • Up to 1.5m sq-ft of new office and retail space
  • Enhanced shopping and restaurant options

The exhibition, held in the Yellow Pavilion off Olympic Way, HA9 0FA, on Friday (September 4) 3pm-7pm; Saturday (September 5) midday-4pm; Sunday (September 6) midday-4pm; Monday (September 7) 11am-7pm; and Tuesday (September 8) 3pm-7pm.

James Saunders, chief operating officer at Quintain, said: "We are inviting the public to come and see our exciting proposals for Wembley, an area which is fast becoming one of London’s new vibrant neighbourhoods.

"The comments we received from the initial consultation in June are encouraging and have informed our designs which have progressed over the last few months.

"Our proposals could deliver a variety of benefits to Wembley Park including much needed new homes, a seven-acre park and much more. We look forward to continuing our investment in Wembley Park long into the future."
