This was the scene at Harrow Civic Centre as Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson filmed their new Hollywood hit, The Hitman's Bodyguard .

The pair, along with Gary Oldman, were filming inside the council chambers today and are set to be on location filming until Sunday (May 29).

More than 100 extras were also on set, with most in judicial costumes while others were dressed up in what seemed to be special forces military costume.

Movie equipment vehicles and catering trucks took up two of Harrow Council's car parks, while there was a large crane holding large lights that were shining into the council chambers where the scenes were being filmed.

The Hollywood film will see the pair come together as Reynolds plays the world's top protection agent, while Jackson will play a hitman who is Reynolds' new client.

Meena Vibhakar, who was standing outside the Civic Centre with Hansa Hirani and Dipti Hirani, said that having the pair in Harrow was very excting.

She said: "It's all very exciting isn't it?

"I think this is good for Harrow, to have such big and famous names here will be good.

"I would've thought that with these famous actors being here that more people would be outside, but maybe they aren't all on their lunch break."
