A crash in Ruislip is causing traffic to build up on a busy road in West London this morning (Thursday, November 22).

There are queues in the Ruislip area after a crash, according to the Met Police.

The official Hillingdon police Twitter account tweeted just before 8.30am on Thursday: "Road traffic collision on Breakspear Road South near junction with Breakspear Road in Ruislip which is causing traffic build up – please try and avoid the area."

A road is also closed in Uxbridge this morning after a crash left a double decker bus badly damaged.
