A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital in a "serious" condition after a stabbing in Ruislip .

Hillingdon Police officers first tweeted about the incident just before 7pm on Friday (October 13), sharing dash cam footage while en route .

The post read: "En route to a male reportedly stabbed in the abdomen in Ruislip".

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 18.47hrs to West End Road, near the junction with Masson Avenue, Ruislip to a report of a male suffering a stab wound.

"Officers attended along with London's Air Ambulance.

"The victim, a man believed to be in his 20s, was taken to a central London hospital.

"We await an update on his condition - thought to be serious."

The spokesperson confirmed that a crime scene is in place, but no arrests have been made as of yet and enquiries continue.

As of 8.50pm, there was queuing traffic and the road was partially blocked in both directions in Masson Avenue due to the incident.

Get West London’s traffic portal reported congestion in A312 The Parkway to Willow Tree Lane/Glencoe Road (Willow Tree Roundabout) and in A312 Church Road to A40 Western Avenue (Target Roundabout).
