A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Ruislip.

The rider, believed to be a male, was taken to hospital by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service on Monday (May 15).

The rush-hour crash in West End Road near the Polish War Memorial roundabout happened at around 8am.

The Metropolitan Police said they were called at 8.07am to a motorcycle in collision with a car.

A Met Police spokesman said: "A motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.

"We are waiting for an update on his condition."

It is not yet known what injuries the rider is suffering from.

A LAS spokesperson added: "We were called at 7:59am to reports of a road traffic collision in West End Road.

"We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.

"We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a hospital in north west London."

The accident caused severe traffic on the busy stretch of road.

Traffic returned to normal once the accident had been cleared.

No arrests have been made, police added.
