The Chelsea Fireworks Prom is returning this year.
The spectacular will form part of the Live at Chelsea series of concerts taking place at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in June.
The events take place in the grounds of the historic Grade I listed building, which is home to the famous Chelsea Pensioners , on June 15 to June 18.
Also performing as part of this year’s series are the legendary indie-pop band Belle & Sebastian , while genre-defying pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi will perform on the final two nights.
The return of the Fireworks Prom follows on from the success of last year’s inaugural event .
It will feature the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra playing a programme which will include pieces by composers such as Mozart, Elgar and Tchaikovsky.
The quintessentially British summer concert will also include some of the most iconic pieces of music in history, such as "Jerusalem" by Parry, "Spitfire Prelude" by Walton and "Rule Britannia" by Arne with a Canon and Firework finale.
This year’s Live at Chelsea will be kicked off by Belle & Sebastian on June 18, with the Fireworks Prom on the following day and Ludovico Einaudi bringing the series to a close with dates on June 17 and 18.
Last year’s Live at Chelsea series featured the first Chelsea Fireworks Prom, Simply Red and Wet Wet Wet .
Tickets are selling fast but are still available to buy by going to the Live at Chelsea website .
