Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision between a motorcyclist and pedestrian in South Kensington.

The incident happened outside the Royal Albert Hall at around 9.45am on Tuesday (October 24) morning.

Neither the person riding the motorcycle nor the pedestrian has suffered life threatening or life changing injuries, Scotland Yard say.

A witness travelling on a bus heading towards Hammersmith said he saw six or seven police cars rush by at around 10am.

When the bus arrived at Royal Albert Hall, a fire engine and ambulance was also at the scene, and police had started sealing off the road.

A woman was being treated by paramedics, the witness said.

Police confirmed the road was temporarily sealed off while emergency services were at the scene but that it was soon reopened.

The injured pair were taken to a central London hospital, Met Police told getwestlondon .
