Newly trained police officers have been praised after helping a man who had fallen from a height in White City.
The officers were just three days into their job when they were called to Becklow Gardens on Sunday (July 30) at around 3pm.
The probationers, as they are known, attended with two instructor constables who assisted with the casualty.
He was taken to a central London hospital. His next of kin have been located and are with him now.
Their efforts were praised by Hammersmith and Fulham Police, who wrote on Twitter: “Their reaction and professionalism to what was an awful incident is highly commendable.”
The message added: “It’s clear these guys are going to make fantastic officers.”
The fall was not believed to have occurred in suspicious circumstances.
Newly trained police officers undergo a two-year probationary period where they work alongside experienced officers and gaining a wide range of practical, on-the-job knowledge.
