A 13-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of a rape in Brent has now been charged with the offence.
It follows an attack on a boy aged under 13 at Roe Green Park, off Kingsbury Road, in Kingsbury, on Tuesday (May 16).
The young teen, from north London, will now appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday (May 19).
He was arrested on Wednesday (May 17), and charged the following day with one count of rape of a male under 13, one count of causing or inciting a child under 13 into sexual activity and one count of kidnap.
Officers from the Met’s Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are continuing with the investigation.
