A teenage boy accused of raping and kidnapping a boy under the age of 13 has denied the charges.
The young teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with one count of rape of a male under 13, one count of causing or inciting a child under 13 into sexual activity and one count of kidnap.
The defendant, aged 13, was arrested on suspicion of raping another young teenage male at a park in Brent.
The victim, a boy aged under 13, was assaulted in Roe Green Park, Kingsbury, at around 9am on Tuesday May 16, police said.
The 13-year-old entered a not guilty plea to all three charges after he appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Monday (May 22).
A trial date was set for July.
Officers from the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are continuing their investigations.
