Homeowners renting out their driveways in Hammersmith and Fulham are earning thousands of pounds, according to a new survey.
New figures showed driveway bookings charging up to a staggering £40 a day if they're close to borough hotspots such as Stamford Bridge, Imperial Wharf station and Fulham Broadway.
Those living further away from well known areas still raked in £12 a day from advertising their driveways online.
Founder of JustPark Anthony Eskinazi, who carried out the research, said: "These families and individuals are resourceful enough to be making a bit of extra money from their property, and are offering an important service at the same time - in this case, cheaper parking for drivers in Hammersmith and Fulham."
According to the site, the popularity of renting out driveways has increased by 40%, with more residents in the borough seeing the benefits of making use of empty spaces.
Those searching for a spot in the city's centre also increased, with 60% more people looking to find a space compared to the previous year.
