Ram-raiders drove a van through a designer store in Knightsbridge in the early hours of Tuesday (January 24) morning.

Police from Kensington and Chelsea were informed at 5am that a silver Ford Transit van had driven through the shop front of the Louis Vuitton shop in Sloane Street.

A number of suspects were reported to have entered the shop and removed goods.

The suspects then drove off on mopeds leaving the van abandoned in the shop front.

Police say they do not know the value of the items stolen at this time.

The same shop was targeted in June 2014 , when thieves smashed through the door on scooters.

They managed to steal a number of handbags, belts and purses with a value in excess of £70,000, but the five man mob from north and east London were later caught and jailed.

No arrests have been made following the latest break-in and enquiries continue.
