CCTV images as part of a police appeal to trace a suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of a pregnant woman in Greenford.

Police in Ealing would like to speak to the woman, pictured, and are appealing for witnesses and information to identify her.

At around 9.35am on Wednesday (February 4), a 31-year-old pregnant woman was walking along Costons Avenue, at the junction with Greenford Road, when she was approached from behind by a woman trying to grab her handbag.

A struggle followed and the suspect slapped the victim across the face before going through her bag and taking her phone, purse and cash.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black female, between 35 and 40-years-old, 5ft 5ins tall, with short dark hair. She was wearing a long, brown and beige coat, black trousers or leggings and a multi-coloured scarf on her head.
