Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following an incident where a schoolboy was allegedly sexually assaulted in Willesden Green .

The incident happened at around 3.15pm on Wednesday, January 11.

Officers said the 12-year-old victim was approached by a man in Park Avenue, who persuaded the boy to go to a nearby address in Griffin Close in Brent .

It was at that address that the man assaulted the schoolboy.

Detective Inspector Christine Edgar said: “We are appealing for anyone who recognises, or thinks they recognise, the man in the images we’ve released, to contact us.

“We are also continuing to appeal for witnesses, or anyone in or around the areas of Park Avenue and Griffin Close, that saw the man with a boy, to also contact us.”

The incident happened at around 3.15pm on Wednesday, January 11.

The man was wearing a light coloured long sleeved top, grey coloured trousers and a grey beanie hat. He also had a bike with him.

He is described as being in his mid 20s, southeast Asian in appearance, is of slim build and around 5ft4ins tall.
