A police officer was allegedly headbutted and another subjected to abuse of an anti-Semitic nature in West Kensington on Tuesday (September 5).

Police said an incident took place in Baron’s Court Road at around 2pm, after officers were called to reports of a white male in his 40s causing a disturbance in the area.

Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham said the man was swearing at a group of people and threw a bin at them before threatening them screwdrivers.

According to the officer, when they arrived he headbutted one and had to be restrained and placed in handcuffs.

Police say the man was threatening people with these tools before he attacked officers

He then started shouting abuse of an anti-Semitic nature at the arresting officer before being carted off to custody.

Police said the arrested man is being processed at the moment.
