Detectives investigating a violent attack on a 32-year-old man outside a pub in Hanwell have made a second arrest.

The victim was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after suffering head injuries at around 2am on Saturday (September 24).

It is believed the man was involved in an argument with two men outside the Duke of York in Station Road.

Two 19-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH.

The victim was punched to the floor by one of the offenders and the second attacked him as he lay on the ground.

They then fled in a blue Vauxhall Astra that was later found abandoned nearby.

Both men are being held in custody at a west London police station.
