Seven teenagers have been arrested in connection with the "ransacking" of McDonald's at Marble Arch, police said as they released a raft of new photos.

Four girls aged 15 to 17 remained in custody on Sunday (July 24) morning after being arrested over disorder at the fast food restaurant.

Three boys aged 16 to 18 who were also arrested have been bailed to dates in early and mid September.

The restaurant was stormed by people helping themselves to food on Tuesday (July 19) evening, on a night of violence during which a police officer and two others were stabbed in neighbouring Hyde Park.

Police published photos on Saturday (July 23) of a dozen people they wished to identify in connection with the McDonald's disorder.

Detectives said the following morning that five of those pictured had been arrested but the other seven had yet to be traced.

They also released images of eight more people they wish to identify as they continue to investigate the disturbance.

Anyone who recognises any of those pictured is asked to call the investigation team on 020 8785 8244, quoting the reference number. You can also call Crimestoppers, free and anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
