British Transport Police has launched an investigation after linking three sexual offence incidents on public transport.

The three incidents happened between January and May this year and the police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to as they believe he may have information that could help the investigation.

The first incident occurred at 8.17pm on January 23 where a man boarded a service at Slough towards London Paddington.

Police believe this man can help with their investigation

During the journey a man began touching himself inappropriately while sitting diagonally opposite a woman, the man is then believed to have left the service at Ealing Broadway.

During the second incident, a man exposed and touched himself inappropriately on a Reading to Paddington Service on May 3 between 12.15pm and 1.30pm.

In the third incident, on May 23, a man walked from another carriage and sat opposite a 16-year-old girl before proceeding to touch himself over his clothing.

The incident happened at 12.07 after the teenager boarded the train at Staines.

A ticket inspector approached the man, who then swore at the ticket inspector and ran off down the train.

Anyone who recognises the man or who has information relating to the incidents is asked to call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 citing reference 160 of 14/08/2017.
