Police in Croydon have released a picture of a man they wish to speak with in connection with burglaries in west and south London.

Two burglaries were carried out at homes in Purley, near Croydon, south London in January and another was carried out in Kilburn , west London, in February.

Jeffrey Major, also known as Jeff Francis or Jeffrey Major-Francis has no fixed abode, however, the 43-year-old is known to have links to Notting Hill , Hayes and Croydon.

Police are urging anyone who has seen him, or or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact DC Drew Dunmill at Croydon CID on 020 3276 2210, or via 101, or via Twitter @MetCC.

The police said it was unable to give out any more information on the burglaries for operational reasons.
