Police in Hounslow are appealing for information following reports an individual was subjected to racial remarks.

Hounslow Police said it is looking for a potential victim who was wearing a turban during an incident in the picnic area outside Heston Leisure Centre on New Heston Road.

Police believe the suspect went on to spit at and push two children aged between 12 and 14 years-old.

Posting an appeal for witnesses on Facebook on Thursday (July 13), Hounslow Police said: "We are looking for a potential victim wearing a turban who may have been subjected to racial remarks.

"The suspect also went onto spit at and push two you children aged between 12-14 years old.

"The suspect aged between 18-22 years, average build and was wearing a black jumper with white stripes and a grey tracksuit bottoms.

"He was also carrying a Nike bag.

"Do you know who the suspect is?"

The force also shared its appeal on Twitter.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (July 11) between 4.30pm and 4.58pm and police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who knows the the suspect to contact Hounslow Community Safety Team by calling on 0208 247 6185, quoting 0514883/17.
