Two young girls have been arrested by police following a fight outside Roundwood Park in Willesden , involving a large group of around 100-150 youths.

Metropolitan Police , along with a police helicopter, were called at 4.20pm on Friday (March 18) to Harlesden Road to disperse the crowd and deal with the fight.

According to police, a 13-year-old girl was pushed to the ground and kicked, suffering facial injuries.

They say a 54-year-old passer-by tried to intervene, but was also pushed and racially abused, suffering cuts to her hand.

The 13-year-old was reportedly treated by London Ambulance Service at her home.

Police say two girls aged 16 and 12, were arrested on suspicion of common assault and racially aggravated common assault, with the 12-year-old also arrested for resisting arrest.

Both girls were released by police with no further action in connection with the assaults, however the 12-year-old girl has been bailed to return on a date in early April for resisting arrest.
