The Metropolitan Police has launched an appeal for help in locating a 55-year-old man.

Patrick Stokes was last seen at his home in Enfield at around 1pm to 1.30pm on Monday, January 2 and officers and his family are extremely concerned for his health and wellbeing.

Mr Stokes was going out to east London and was expected home at around 3.30pm, however, he failed to return.

His white pick-up truck was later found in Folly Lane in Waltham Forest.

Officers believe Patrick could be in Harrow , Tottenham or Enfield, as he often visits those areas.

When he was last seen, Patrick was wearing a tweed jacket with leather-type patches on the elbows, blue jeans, black shoes and a blue t-shirt. He also often wears two crucifixes around his neck.

He is described as white and is around 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build with grey hair. On his left forearm he has a tattoo which reads: "Son-in-law Butch 19.03.16".

A spokesman for the police said: "Officers and Patrick’s family are extremely concerned for his health and wellbeing.

"Patrick likes to frequent Tottenham, Harrow and Enfield areas."

Anyone with any information as to his whereabouts should call Police in Waltham Forest on 101.
