Police concern for missing Maida Vale 84-year-old with dementia and diabetes

Police in Westminster are appealing for the public’s help to trace a missing elderly woman.

Dorothy Caines, 84, was last seen at approximately 4.30pm on Monday (April 10) at her home address in Maida Vale .

Officers are concerned for her welfare as she has dementia and has Type 2 diabetes, for which she needs medication.

Ms Caines is a black woman, 5ft 3ins tall, very slim build and has grey hair.

Although not certain, officers believe she was last wearing brown corduroy trousers, a light mustard coloured jacket, white sandals with socks and a brown beanie hat.

There is a possibility that she may be in the Harrow Road area .

Anyone who has seen Ms Caines is asked to contact police on 101 or via Twitter using @MetCC
