Police have arrested two women after a man turned up at Ealing Hospital with stab wounds.

Officers were called to the Uxbridge Road hospital in Southall on Sunday (October 9) at 6.30pm to reports of a man presenting himself to staff with stab wounds.

He was treated by medics and then taken to another west London hospital by the London Ambulance Service (LAS).

Police said they have arrested a 50-year-old woman and a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (wounding).

Officers described the man's condition as non-life-threatening.

The arrested pair have been released on bail to return in mid November.

Last month tributes were paid to "beautiful" Stephen Raynor who died from a stab wound in Hanwell on September 17.

Mr Raynor, from Hammersmith according to his Facebook account, was pronounced dead in hospital at 11.45pm after paramedics and police had rushed to the scene in Baker House, Nightingale Road, at around 11pm.

Officers have charged his partner, Elizabeth Hart-Browne, with murder.
