Metropolitan police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was hospitalised following a collision in Kilburn .

Officers were called shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday (December 11) to reports of a motorcycle in collision with a car in Burrard Road, on the junction with Finchley Road.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and the motorcycle rider, a man aged 39, was taken to a central London hospital for treatment.

His injuries are not life threatening, police added.

The driver of the car was stopped at the scene, and was not arrested.

Officers said the collision occurred as the car was turning right into Burrard Road from Finchley Road.
