A 35 year-old man was attacked with a baseball bat and a knife by a group of what is believed to be Polish men.

The victim had been in a fast food restaurant in Neasden Lane on September 4 , he was followed by two suspects before being assaulted in Coombe Road, Neasden.

The victim ran back towards the restaurant and was then attacked by a further two men.

He suffered from a suspected fractured arm and hand and had two deep lacerations to the back of his head.

The suspects have been described as white Eastern European men believed to be Polish.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and the victim was taken to a north London hospital.

Police in Brent are releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the serious assault that took place.

DC Paul Connelly, from Brent, CID said: "I would like to speak with anyone who was in the area or inside the restaurant at the time of the incident who may have witnessed this assault.

" If you are the man in the photo or know who he is please contact the police."
