Police are appealing for assistance to trace a "vulnerable" 14-year-old boy missing from Hounslow .

David Whyte was last seen at around 2am on Sunday morning (February 14) at his home address off Bridge Road, Hounslow.

His family noticed he was missing shortly before 6.30am and called police.

David is a black male, approximately 5ft 5inches tall with black hair. He has severe autism which renders him unable to speak so he communicates through apps on his mobile phone. As a result of his autism, David is not streetwise and has no sense of risk or danger.

David also likes travelling on the transport network and, when missing before, has been found on buses and trains. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a red hooded top.

Anyone who has seen David Whyte or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Hounslow Police via 101 or call the charity Missing People on 116000.
