Police have released an image of a man who officers want to speak to in connection with a string of alleged sex assaults on buses.

The most recent incident involved a 23-year-old woman who was sat at the back of a busy H37 bus, operating between Hounslow and Richmond .

She said she was sexually assaulted by a man who sat down next to her, at around 6.30pm on Wednesday September 14.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport Policing Command are now appealing for the public's help to identify the man.

He is described as a 35-year-old Asian man who is around 6ft 1in tall.

This incident has been linked to two subsequent allegations reported to police.

On two separate occasions, another female aged 23 reported she had been sexually assaulted by a man who sat beside her at the back of the same bus route.

Both these incidents happened in mid-July after the victim boarded the bus in Richmond.

Anyone with information about the man in the photo, or about any other incidents, is asked to contact Detective Constable Teresa Moore, at the Roads and Transport Policing Command, via 101.
